Inspect and restore an earlier version
Compare saved content and restore an earlier version as a draft.

- Selected document or library item → versions
- Access
- Active hotel licence and Editor or managing administrator permission.
Procedure
- Save current draft edits before using version or publication controls.
- Open the version list and inspect the required saved version.
- Select the restore control. The selected version becomes the draft.
- Inspect the restored draft and publish it to update the published content.
Controls

| Compare | Displays the selected document versions for comparison. |
| Restore draft | Restores the selected version into the draft. |
| Publish | Replaces the published content with the restored draft. |
A stale save is rejected when the document revision has changed since the editor loaded. Reload the document before saving against the current revision.
