Find and open a place guide
Locate a country or region and open its reference guide.
- Location
- Atlas → map and search
- Access
- Public access.
Procedure
- Select a country or region on the map, or enter its name in search.
- Select a search result to open the place preview.
- Open the guide from the preview and navigate its sections.
- Close the guide to return to the map.
Controls
| Control | Function |

| Search | Finds indexed countries and regions. |
| Map selection | Opens the selected place preview. |
| Open guide | Opens the full place guide. |
| Escape | Closes the uppermost open panel. In a text field, Escape first removes focus from the field. |
| / | Focuses map search when a text field or modal is not active. |
